After going here and there throughout the day, we ended up at The Diamond in Gastown. I have a biased opinion on anything located in Gastown... I ADORE that place. But aside from that, The Diamond was a wonderful place for us to go. It was perfect. Definitely one of the top places to hit up for quality, creative cocktails and even when you're a little bit hungry.. They serve tapas + little snacks, too !!! It is a little hard to find, but not really. Across from L'Abattoir and Six Acres.. upstairs. You might spot a cute chandelier peeking from one of the upstairs windows ~
And the above pictures ties in BEAUTIFULLY with my latest LIGHTING obsession. I thought I was really into lamps, then just normal bulbs, and then the mod-style 1950s lighting... but no. Secretly I'm digging the all feminine luxury good: THE CHANDELIER. Someone get me a chandelier RIGHT NOW. The chandelier at The Diamond had the cutest ELK HEADS on them !!!!!!! CUUUUUUUTEEE. WAAAAAAAAAANNTTT. YESSSSSSSSSS.
